    1. No stove. No pot. We're going cookless! No hat for The Bald Guy, just a Buff and his hood. Sue has a Buff and a Brooks mesh cap. We've got Black Diamond Trail Shock poles. We are still working out our food. Camelback for The Bald Guy and Osprey Hydraform for Sue (both 3 liters). At times will be carrying Gatorade bottles as well. Sawyer 3-Way Inline Water Filters with Potable Aqua Chlorine Dioxide Tablets for back up.

  2. Hi Jeff and Sue! I came across your blogs while researching/planning for the PCT myself. My plan is to hike just the portion of the trail that runs through Oregon in August and then hopefully the summer of 2014 after I graduate to hike the entire trail (unfortunately it is my pursuit of an education that is delaying this trip). I will definitely be keeping a watch out for new posts about how this trip goes for you! Definitely admire the going cookless!

    1. Nicole,
Did you make your dream of hiking the PCT come true? I hope so. How was it. We've been changed forever for the experience. I hope it means as much to you!
