Here is the Snow Flower which
is unique in that it has no green since it's snowy habitat doesn't allow for photosynthesis. (I hope I got that right!)
The trail usually side hills like this. Sometimes Iit's better...sometimes it's worse.

Friend Pocahontas, trail legend Billy Goat and me at Ziggy & the Bear's. Billy Goat has done the PCT numerous times.
After leaving Ziggy & the Bear's we passed by the Mesa Wind Farm and stopped to say hi to the hiker friendly staff.
