There won't be any from week two as we just sat around with our feet elevated! Thank you Rik & Faith!
Love to you all!
We LOVE Hiking!
KOKO & The Bald Guy
Humble beginnings! |
We hiked from the far point (Forester Point). |
Typical sunset |
G-Bird (near) and Razor taking a break at Barrel Springs |
Don't see these at home! Gorgeous! |
The trail just goes on and on and on and on around each curve then...there's more of the same. |
Don't know what it is, but it's as soft as it looks. |
Not too concerned about folks picking the local flowers! |
Flat is beautiful! |
Beginnings of the blisters... |
It looks like the trail drops off the edge. It doesn't. It just keeps going on and on. |
This bus was full of students who cheered us on. It was kinda cool. |
Typical campsite |
First big milestone--Mile 100! |
Thanks for the pictures! Even a desert can be beautiful - amazing. Here's hoping that things get back to normal and your adventure continues - blister free!!!
ReplyDeleteSure glad you didn't try to keep going with that big ole thing, and the first of several from the sounds of it! OUCH!

Thanks for the great photos! I hope the rest of your hike is blister-free.
ReplyDeleteHey, awesome pictures! We just returned from S. Cal and had been talking about blooming cactus and here you have the pictures! Enjoying your trek have been on many sections of PCT in Oregon and Washington but never in CA...so this is great to follow your adventure. Want to get you a care package sometime soon so will be following up on that as well as thinking it would be fun to meet you somewhere when you get in our "neighborhood". Love and blessing to you both
