we're off and running...er...hiking...again. TBG didn't gain as much weight as we would have liked but he did gain and we both rested so we decided to move forward. We aren't sure how far we will go--Yosemite? Oregon? Canada? We will let you know as soon as we decide.
We profusely thank Miriam and her family for their loving care and hospitality during this time and to young Sydney for maintaining the blog for us from now on. Miriam and Paul have hosted us and taken us shopping and fed us (and fed us and fed us) and the kids kept us entertained. What a great time we have had here. It sure makes it hard to leave. We look forward to a return trip in the future--where we won't be concerned about hiking!
We also thank you, our followers for your love and support when we were down and struggling. You mean a lot to us. It will probably be a couple of weeks before we are able to update you, but don't despair, Ms. Sydney will be on top of it!
