Blooming flowers. Always a welcome sight.

What may go unnoticed by some, does not get by the "Eye of  KOKO"!

What a great surprise! Good trail through grass and trees. Short lived, of course.

Hiking along the aqueduct.
Looks like fun! Doesn't it?

Some critters will do anything to get their photo taken!

  1. Hey you two, hang in there! If anyone can make it you two can. You have already completed 700 miles and the worst part for mental exhaustion. The Sierras will feed your soul, they are hard miles, but the beauty overwhelms. If you are still hanging in there, you can do it! We will be near the sierras soon, wer're heading to Las Vegas tomorrow, then onto the Sierras. Let us know where you are, we'll bring trail magic and hugs!
    Love you lots!

  2. Glad to hear you two are still going.....think energizer bunny!! Being a fellow bearded one, I think TBG looks good in the beard. Keep it growing!!! I have to agree with Linda, the Sierras will inspire you and reward you for the hiking you have done. Regardless of how much of the PCT you finish this year, think of all you have done and experienced and the lessons it has taught you. Well worth it. Keep a going!!!

  4. Sounds like words of wisdom from experienced friends--but they don't love you like we do! ;-) So listen up, and remember, you can do anything, and anything you do is OK! ;-)
